Care Level Guide is meant to help family carers record everyday care: a diary of help with washing, eating, medication or at night. From it, the app creates an overview to prepare for the care assessment in Germany – and later a plain-language explanation of the decision letter.

    The diary is stored encrypted on your device only.

What the app does – and what it does not.

  • No promise about the care level

    The care level is set by the care insurance fund after the assessment. The app helps you document and understand.

  • No medical advice

    For medical and care questions, doctors and care advice centres are the right place to go.

  • AI is labelled

    Wherever AI is used, for example to explain the decision letter, it is labelled.

When will Care Level Guide be available?

It is in preparation, planned for iOS and Android. We will only name a date once it is fixed.

Does it work in Austria and Switzerland?

Assessments and care levels work differently there. At launch, the app focuses on Germany.
