Terms of Use "Levamio Receipt Vault" (app for iOS and Android)

1. Provider and scope

1.1 The app "Levamio Receipt Vault" ("App") is offered by NEXTLEVEL CORPORATE SERVICE PROVIDER - FZCO, Building A1, IFZA Business Park, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (DIEZ License No. 67837), represented by Tassilo Peter Seitz ("we"). 1.2 These terms apply to consumers using the App. The terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play additionally apply to the purchase and billing of the subscription.

2. Services

2.1 The App lets you photograph, import or manually enter purchase documents (till receipts, invoices, order confirmations), store them encrypted in the vault on your device, search, categorise, export (PDF, CSV, ZIP) and back them up as an encrypted file.
2.2 AI scan (optional): At your request and after your consent, an artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) suggests values such as shop, product, purchase date, price and warranty and return periods printed on the receipt. Suggestions may be wrong or incomplete. You check all values before saving.
2.3 Reminders: The App reminds you via local notifications before warranty, statutory guarantee and return periods end, if you allow notifications. Delivery depends on your device and operating system; we do not guarantee it.
2.4 Statutory guarantee – no legal advice: For many countries the App suggests a typical statutory period as a reminder aid (e.g. 2 years in the EU). This is not legal advice and not a statement about your rights in an individual case. Whether and for how long you have rights depends, among other things, on the country of purchase, the type of goods, the defect, the evidence and the contract. If in doubt, contact the seller, a consumer advice service or a lawyer.
2.5 There is no entitlement to a particular availability of the AI scan; we may switch it off temporarily, e.g. for maintenance or security incidents. Entry, reminders, export and backup work without our server.

3. Free use and subscription

3.1 Free use includes up to 20 receipts in the vault and 20 AI scans per device. Scans in which no receipt is recognised do not count.
3.2 Levamio Plus (yearly subscription) unlocks unlimited receipts and AI scans. AI scans are subject to a reasonable fair-use limit to prevent abuse (currently up to 10 scans per 10 minutes and 40 per day).
3.3 Price and term are shown in the store before purchase. The subscription renews automatically for one year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period in your store account settings. Payment, cancellation, refunds and any right of withdrawal are governed by the store's terms and processes.
3.4 If the subscription ends, all receipts already saved remain on your device and can still be viewed, exported and backed up; you can add new receipts again within the limits of section 3.1.

4. Your obligations

4.1 AI scanning may only be used from the age of 16.
4.2 Only upload receipts you are entitled to process and no unlawful content. Do not try to circumvent protective measures (quotas, device checks) or overload the App or server.
4.3 Your data is stored only on your device. You are responsible for backups (backup function). We have no access to your vault and cannot recover lost data or a forgotten backup password.
4.4 Keep original receipts where sellers, manufacturers, insurers or authorities require them. Whether a photo or export is accepted as proof is decided by the recipient.

5. Liability

5.1 We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under mandatory statutory provisions (e.g. product liability).
5.2 In the event of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
5.3 In particular, for missed deadlines we are liable only in accordance with sections 5.1 and 5.2; the App does not replace your own review of the periods and conditions on the receipt and with the seller.
5.4 Mandatory rights under the law of your habitual residence remain unaffected.

6. Privacy

7. Changes and term

7.1 You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it (please also cancel the subscription in the store).
7.2 We may change these terms with effect for the future if necessary due to new features, changes in the law or store requirements, provided you are not unreasonably disadvantaged. We inform you about material changes in the App.

8. Law and dispute resolution

8.1 The statutorily applicable law applies; we do not make a choice of law towards consumers. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
8.2 We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
